Overview

The Kenrik KRDA16X64VDM is a high-resolution video BNC distribution amplifier with signal condition monitoring. Each of the 16 BNC video input signals is buffered to ensure all four (or eight) corresponding BNC video outputs are of equal strength and quality. Unused outputs are self terminating. All video connections use high quality BNC connectors and accept full motion color or monochrome composite video. This DA arrives rack mount ready (ears on) to fit in a standard 19 inch rack at 2U (3.5 inches high) by 3.5 inches deep.


The Distribution Amplifier can be powered with a wide range of AC transformers or DC power sources from 10.5 to 24 VAC (10 VA) or 10.5 to 40 VDC (10 W). (Power supply unit is not included.) With isolated power, surge protection and under voltage lockout, this unit has been built to be both flexible and durable to accommodate nearly any system design.


The front panel of the KRDA16X64VDM includes one LED unit power indicator (green), and 16 LEDs for video signal moni- toring. Each of the 16 video input signals is monitored to identify whether a video signal is present (blue), absent (red) or when the video signal is weak (purple) (0.25 V to 0.5 V).
